Quadra Island is just a 10 minute very scenic ferry ride from Campbell River.
To Campbell River
Getting to Campbell River is easy. Located halfway up the East coast of the Vancouver Island, Campbell River is 153 km North of Nanaimo and 264 km from Victoria on Highway 19. Campbell River also features its own airport with economical airport shuttles and taxis available to transport you into town.
To Quadra Island
Once in Campbell River, the ferry is hard to miss. Just head for the water and the city centre signs will lead you to the port. The ferry from Campbell River leaves every hour on the half hour. Ferry schedules can be found at http://www.bcferries.com/schedules/northern/crqi-current.html. You should be looking at the Campbell River to Quadra Island ferry run.
To Out For Adventure Outfitters
Drive straight off the ferry and follow the road as it climbs the hill. A plaza is located straight ahead while the road curves left. Follow the curve in the road and continue down the street to the Village Square Plaza. The driveway is just before the stop sign on the right. Out For Adventure outfitters is at 685 Heriot Bay Road, next to Cafe Aroma’s at the corner of Harper Road and Heriot Bay Rd and in Quathiaski Cove.
Day tour participants who are foot passengers can be picked up at the ferry. With advance notice only.
